To rebuy or not to rebuy?

Here's the deal...

It's a No-Limit Texas Hold 'Em tournament every Thursday at my local Casino.

The total cost is $62.00 with $2.00 of it going to the casino as an entry fee, and the rest of the money is divided among 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.

There are two ways to buy in:

1)You can buy in for $22.00 and you get $400 in tourn. chips. Then you can rebuy for another $20 and get $600 more, then rebuy for another $20 and get $600 more. This will give you a total of $1600 in tournament chips.

-or-

2)You can buy in for the full $62 and receive $2000 in tournament chips.

I'm trying to figure out which is the most profitable way to go. Since it's no-limit, having the chance to go all in and then rebuy is helpful. Plus it is theoretically possible to win the tournament with only a $22 investment.

On the other hand, if you buy in the full amount up front you're getting a bonus $400 in tournament chips, and I would say that 60-70% of the players do this. Which means that I have my measley $00 in tournament chips, and I'm sitting at a table with people who have $2000 in tournament chips. (Although I can rebuy and they can't.)

what do you all think I should do?
