Mohegan Sun Blackjack Bonanza

The Mohegan Sun has a table game called Blackjack Bonanza. There are several tables in an 8 deck pit in the Casino of the Earth and there are three tables along with two Spanish 21 tables and two $5 CSM tables under the turtle themed smoke free pit in the Casino of the Sky. The table limits are $5 or $10 to $1000 with an additional side bet of $1 which is required to play. The rules are the same as regular blackjack.

The side bet is interesting in that it can pay out a bonus for every blackjack. Each Ace and 10 valued card are assigned a dollar amount printed on them, which are $10, $25, $100, $1000 and $2500 which will determine how much any bonus will be. If you receive a blackjack with matching dollar amounts printed on the Ace and 10 you will receive that amount. If you receive three 7's of spades which have BLACKJACK BONANZA printed on them you will receive the Blackjack Bonanza of $5000.

A blackjack without the matching dollar values pays an extra $5 or $10 plus the $1 side bet is returned.

If trying to count cards at this game, the cutoffs are usually 2 1/2 to nearly 3 decks out of 8 decks. The last time I looked there was slightly more than 2 decks being cut off.
