Left Thursday a.m. with a friend doing the driving and hit Grand Victoria first for their 11:30 a.m. session. Played about thirty minutes of VP and lost $35 bucks at the bar on the entry level(@nd deck) to the right. Played about a forty minute session of double-deck, lousy pen about 50 pct. and never was able to get a streak going of any kind losing about $75 bucks and quitting. Very rough game here. Probably would have been better if there were more players aboard. Grand Vic also have a double-exposure game on one table which I never did try. Onward to Belterra which was about a 30 minute drive west on st rt 56 towards Vevay(Vee-Vee).

The casino pavillion and hotel part is just on par in design with the LV casinos, very attractive looking property. The resturants are excellent with beautiful large aquariums. Marble floors enhance the foyer and walkways to the quaint riverboat which isn't larger than the Argosy, but has a better selection of tables to chose from. They have pitch games(DD) on both decks for $10 and $25. I brought-in for $500 and played for about seventy minutes breaking even and was given a meal comp for two at the Seafood Grille which has a very detail menu with great food. Comps seem easy to get and the floor staff seems quite knowledge of the games. The dealers however can't seem to count upside down and I even had a younger female dealer misdeal her hand twice in twenty minutes. The floor staff gave the option of playing out the hands which I did and won on a BJ and a 20 which I played two hands at a time for $25 bucks.

It's a longer drive for me to get there, but I liked it better any the other two boats just the same. You just have to watch the dealers because they can make mistakes in your favor, but they can also make them against you too! BLUE NILE
