I read a rumor on another board about cheating at the Hollywood Casino.. i have played there pretty extensively, but have never witnessed it..
the rumor is that when the SD count is high and a larger bet is placed out, then the dealer looks at the next card to be dealt and if it is good then he/she shuffles, but if it is not a good card for the player, he/she deals..
does anyone know of such a rumor??
better yet, does anyone know a dealer at the Hollywood who could confirm/deny these allegations?
the writer of the rumor says she complained to the floorperson who said it was completely legal to do so (thereby admitting the practice), and she said that she couldn't get through to the Mississippi Gaming Commission.. my personal feelings is that if i felt i was really being cheated and i couldn't get through to the MGC, then i would get in my car and drive down there and sleep on their steps until i got ahold of someone...
such cheating can not be tolerated.. this can't be legal can it? if it is, i think it definitely could be changed through a court..
i doubt the validity of the claim because it seems to me that the dealers and floorpeople in all of Tunica are just normal people who aren't very capable of such things (i say this because i know some personally from before there were even casinos here and i have been good friends with them since then..)
