Double deck is alive and well in Las Vegas. The better games deal

S17, DAS, DOA. Caesars Palace deals a S17, DAS, DOA, LSR, RSA double

deck game, but it is $100 minimum, and sometimes higher. The RSA is a

sometimes thing, only offered to "known" players.

The Mirage, Monte Carlo, Bally's, Paris and Venetian deal a 55%

penetrated double deck game (DAS, DOA), with heat starting at multiple

black chips. Bellagio still deals a 70%, yes, 70% penetrated double

deck game with S17, DAS, DOA.

NY-NY has a S17, D10/11 double deck game, and both Harrah's and

Imperial Palace have an H17, DOA, DAS game (at least the used to).

Treasure island also has a S17, DOA, DAS double deck game (55% pen),

but only in the high limit area.

Excalibur and Circus Circus have some doubl deck, but I'm not sure

about either the penetration or the rules.

The Stratosphere used to have a good double deck game, but no longer.

A couple additions to Harvey's excellent reply:

Most places have one set of rules for all their DD games, but some vary. At

Bally's and Treasure Island, some of the DD games are s17 and some are h17.

(The same is true of other games, by the way. At the MGM Grand, for example,

the shoes are mostly s17 but there's one pit of h17.)

There's late surrender, along with DAS and s17, at the DD at the LV Hilton.

The penetration is so terrible, though, that it's not worth the trip to the

out-of-the-way Hilton. (If you're even a casual Star Trek fan, though, their

Star Trek Experience is definitely worth the trip.)

Most of the DD tables at Harrah's have bad rules -- h17 and no DAS. They used

to offer s17 in the high-limit pit but I think that's been discontinued.

The Flamingo Hilton, with h17 but DAS, is worth a look.

According to Current Blackjack News, the DD at the Venetian consists of a

single table with a $200 minimum. On my one visit there, more than a year ago,

I didn't notice any DD, but I wasn't really looking.

Good luck!
