The only two times I've been to The Mirage, found that their DD games had very good play from the comp viewpoint. Getting the players card always plays well with the casinos. Treasure Island has a better comp system for hotel stays(special rates for the moderate play). The RIO is about the same as the Mirage, but I found the floor supervisors easier to approach went it comes to comping. Of all the larger hotels in LV, I prefer the rating system of the STARDUST. Your buy-in gets you a better play.
I'll be in LV for the first weekend of September also. I usually will stay at four different locations for five days. I take advantage of all my visits. I play primarily single deck and sometimes DD when I'm ahead. At any one time you'll find me at the LV Hilton when it comes to sports betting. I have a very fine appreciation of the finer dining locations of LV. If you want, drop me a line, maybe we could put the grey matter together and figure/discuss strategy to take LV out of some of it's lunch money.
Bet hits for single deck: SAMS TOWN WESTWARD HO! EL CORTEZ(A little dirty!!)
Stay away from: LAS VEGAS CLUB TREASURE ISLAND CAESAR'S PALACE
Well good luck to you, G-MAN.
