I did once come out in November for COMDEX(being a computer analyst by profession). The usual sequence of events would have me out for Labor Day weekend for the opening of pro football. This year however the pro season won't start until Sept 11th, if I plan to hit that Big Smoke event for November 99 that means I won't do LV in September. There's the Celebrity Smoker in Atlantic City(held at the Hilton) every February that I like; this past year Gale Sayers, Willie Mays, and Pete Rose led the field of smokers. The year before I was chillin' with Bruce Willis and his squeeze Demi Moore. I probably could do this one this year, I guess the $150 just covers the dinner and the smokes, was there any beenies that come with it like R.S.V.P. status? I can remember seeing something about it on the internet and Cigar Aficionado, but since it was just after and a month or two before my next trip, I didn't make plans to attend. When you say 40-50 premium cigars, is that your choice of or do they give you samplers for you to leave with. I like to sample the Martell's Cordon Bleu, Johnny Walker's Blue, and Glenfiddich's Cask single malts. So I believe I could much of my damage for $150 on the front end! And yes I'm interested, sent me the dope. BLUE NILE |
