Lots of questions here. I will answer the ones I can.

I am not trying to be coy here, but the biggest aspect of my cover is something I cannot give out, or it will be worthless, if everybody starts using it. I am not trying to be arrogant, its just that I thought it up, and want to use it as long as possible. Sorry.

" have you ever been to the riverboats in indiana?"

- No, I have never been to indiana.

"how in the hell do you get a comp? do they keep track of you win/loss on your rateing card? "

- I think that staying anonymous will definately extended the expected life of someone who counts.

I generally don't play for comps. I am a red to green player, so I do not play at the higher level for large comps, just for meals etc. I try not to give a card when I do, though. Use an excuse. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Main thing is to act as though you couldn't give a flip. Again, I can't give you my favorite one, but use your imagination, and try to think of the situations that arise when people either can't or won't have a card on them.

When I DO give them a card, and they rate my play, which is seldom, its not my real name. There's a number of ways to do this, just be careful and don't do anything illegal. There are ways to do it without breaking the law.

"if so, i win a lot on slots, does it show on your

rateing card. but i dont give it when i play BJ, i back count."

- I don't know anything about how slot comps work, since I only ever put money in a slot machine 1 time in my whole life.( I won and walked. Figured I'd already exceeded my EV!) BAck counting is nice, but most of the tables in my area have those pesky little "NO MIDSHOE ENTRY" signs at the tables I want to play!

"sometimes(rarely) i will sit at a table and even play a N count, but like i said rarely."

-I sometimes play neutral counts as well. Thats a great time to opposition bet if you are concerned about cover. Even better to move on to another casino/table/take a break.

"i dont even think the riverboats give comps"

- the boats in my area (the south) do give comps for a lot more than I will ever have the bankroll to earn. Meals, hotel rooms, etc.One of them gave a high roller season tickets to the Cowboy's home games last season. Wouldn't that be nice? (I wonder how much they really cost him in losses though?)

"the only thing i ever get is a free pass to get on the boat. can you belive they charge to get on the boat, you pay to possibily loose money?

-Wow! I have never played up your way, but is that the norm for the boats up there to charge just to come into the casino? None of the boats I have ever played on charges! That's a lot of nerve.

Let's see, they are real stingy w/comps, AND charge you to get on the boat too? What creeps! I hope they are offering REAl good games!

I apologize for such long winded answers.

Hope I helped a bit.

Take care,

Cyclops
