If you play your $5000 bankroll by yourself, let's say you are conservative at a basic $10 unit. Let's say you spread 1-4 in sd and 1-6 in dd. Let's say your EV is 2 units per hour or $20, with a 1% advantage. |
With that same 1% advantage, you now join your bankroll with 4 other players each contributing the same amount for a total BR of 25K. |
Now each of you, playing simultaneously in different good sd and dd games all over town, has the same 1-4 and 1-6 spread and the same RoR. But now your basic unit is $50. Your per hour EV is now $100. But so is the EV for the other 4 players, who are each making $100 per hour. That's $500 per hour for the team bankroll of which you own 20%. So now you yourself get $100 per hour instead of the $20 you've been making with your solo red play. |
Plus it's so much fun to play those uncrowded higher limit tables. And the comps are much better too. |
Hope this helps, |
