ok, here's the crux of the argument/problem?

That's what i don't get: what's the difference if you're playing at the same table, same casino, same town? If the game's the same, the bankroll's the same (combined), the ROR's the same, the ev and EV are the same, etc, . then you are "...betting twice what their optimum spread dictates for their BR with a corresponding higher RoR..." wherever you and they are sitting.
If it's bad to do it at the same table, it's bad anywhere. no?
