Would playing $20 hands (with a 1:5 bet range) "qualify" one for a free room in anyone of these places?
Assuming that you are averaging somewhere around $40 per hand with your spread, I would venture to say that you wouldn't get a free room at any of the places you named except Excaliber. A $50 average bet for four hours a day might get you comped at the Trop and the Luxor.
The greater problem is the quality of the games at those places. MGM only offers shoe games, and you would have a hard time winning at shoes with a 1-5 spread, while the hand-held games at the other places generally have poor penetration. There are exceptions to the rule at these clubs, but not enough to get you into four hours of play per day.
All is not lost however. Your level of play would get you the casino rate, and it would probably get you "special" free room offers with some restrictions in the mail.
