I think the key legal element in Nevada and New Jersey is the intent to create and unfair advantage. Just possessing a computer is not illegal in any casino, which is fortunate, as all mobile phones have computers in them these days. I think their law does not include a radio, although it may constitute an electronic device for gaining an unfair advantage. We have certainly used radios in the past for roulette cheating (and video transmission).

 

Outside Nevada and New Jersey, only cheating by fraud and theft are illegal. Fruad would normally entail collusion with a croupier, which is something I would never consider.
