Thanks for the info Gehrig. Earlier that day, I asked a pit boss about this machine. He said, "it is for making sure all the cards are there." HAH HAH triple HAH. As if the casinos have been having trouble with stray cards walking away from the deck. Later, just a bit before I was unwelcomed, the dealer told me they were for tracking how each player is playing. I should have walked then but stuck it out a few minutes to long.
