Interesting book - noted at least one error between his basic chart and his following discussion with regard to player holding either A,6 or A,7 ( I forget now which). A lot of duplication and wasted words to get 300 pages. A better resource with solid advice is available from wizardofodds.com/blackjack.

 

All in all - Royer's was the first book I read on the topic and it was helpful to get started, but I would not recommend it to anyone else nor would I purchase any more books by him.
