I just returned from Las Vegas this morning. |
I didn't play a hand of blackjack for the first 3 days I was there. There are a few games here and there that may be playable but for the most part it is very difficult finding good games. Single deck 6:5 games are unplayable. The best games are often outside Las Vegas in the smaller casinos. |
Four Queens, downtown, has a regular 3:2 blackjack game with good rules but, of course, bad penetration. Might be fun for low stakes play though. |
Poker is where the money is right now. Bellagio has lots of good games with tourists filling the tables. I also found a very nice 1-2 no-limit holdem game at Mandalay Bay. It is amazing how good the poker games are compared with just 5 years ago. More tourists and less chance of pros taking up the tables. |
