I just returned from Las Vegas this morning.

I didn't play a hand of blackjack for the first 3 days I was there. There are a few games here and there that may be playable but for the most part it is very difficult finding good games. Single deck 6:5 games are unplayable. The best games are often outside Las Vegas in the smaller casinos.

Four Queens, downtown, has a regular 3:2 blackjack game with good rules but, of course, bad penetration. Might be fun for low stakes play though.

Poker is where the money is right now. Bellagio has lots of good games with tourists filling the tables. I also found a very nice 1-2 no-limit holdem game at Mandalay Bay. It is amazing how good the poker games are compared with just 5 years ago. More tourists and less chance of pros taking up the tables.
