MGM Grand at Foxwoods

MGM Grand at Foxwoods is a grand casino. It is a long walk from the Foxwoods resort but is impressive. It is like being in a nice Las Vegas style casino. I think they have hit the jackpot with the MGM.

The table games are all in the center of the casino surrounded by slot machines which are all surrounded by restaurants, shops and a bakery.

Upon entering, coming down from the escalator from Foxwoods, there were 24 blackjack tables, six Spanish 21 tables, roulette, craps, and 3 card poker tables. There was a pit with 10 blackjack tables, a pit with 6 blackjack tables and a pit with 8 blackjack tables. In the pit with 10 tables there were some $10 tables, in the 6 table pit there were 2 $10 tables and the 8 table pit had all $25 tables. The rest of the tables were $15 and $25. All the tables had eight deck shoes.

Most all of the tables were full although I could get on a table when I wanted.

The high stakes room was small and had about 10 tables at $50 and $100.

The slot machines were not crowded.

The one negative thing is the fact that it is so far from the Foxwoods casinos that it is not convenient or quick to go from one to the other. When I was done for the day my legs, feet and toes were sore from doing so much walking. I had walked over twice.
