I am dumping Hi-Opt1 for good.

I had all these questions and I was kind of afraid to ask in bj21.com. I was afraid thta they were too elementary or repeated.

I have bought 4 books and browsed 6 others and read rec.gambling.blackjack.faq. Each book advocates that the system in that book is the only effective system.
None of them helped me to decide which system is effective for what purpose.

<b>None of them explained the the difference in the effect of the counting system in a single deck versus 8 deck shoe games. You have cleared my doubts. I have learned the importance of choosing a system that includes Ace.</b>

I read every post in bj21.com, and this info never came up.

There is a need for a single place to help a beginner compare the old and new system and choose the right one.

Once again thanks for encouraging me to dump hi-opt 1.
P.S. I do not have a partner to help in side counts.
