Indeed its a fair point that the added complexity can slow you down enough to reduce hands played effecting earnings etc etcAs far as I'm concerned I can play the Uston APC with a side count of Aces when I can be bothered just fine and it works well for me.I dont really think that the gain from side counting Aces is really worth all the effort in the end,well not for the 6 deck shoes i seem destinded to play unfortunately.I must say I do get rather alot of stick from other players if they have money on my box and i deviate from basic strategy.Some of the more common ones being hitting 12 Vs 4 (0) 13 Vs 2 (-1) 16 Vs 10 (0)
They start swearing blah blah especially if you "take a ten" on your twelves.I just normally just say something like well I play the boxes the way i feel like so dont bet your cash on them if u dont trust me.Also its good being able to get away with such ridiculous bet ratios...I have enjoyed betting from 1 then suddenly changing to over 30 with next to no heat.I reckon i could go higher if i wanted but bankroll doesnt allow me.similarly ive seen players go from 10 to 350 units with no problems as well!
If only i could get a single deck game with decent penetration and those ratios....suppose thatd be too easy!
