Level Two Compromise Counts

Posted by T-Hopper on Saturday, 25 October 1997, at 4:32 p.m.

Also included in the Sourcebook will be two compromise
counts. If you choose not to keep a secondary count, these
are the best choice in most games. They are both level 2.

Zen11222100-2-1.962.626
Unbalanced Zen 1112222100-2-1.965.617

The key to the strength of these counts is the value of the
ace, which is given half as much weight as the tens. This
compromise improves the overall system by giving up a little
strength in betting and in playing. There is no need to use
any sort of secondary or side count with these systems; in
fact were you to do so they would be poor choices.
The playing efficiency of the Unbalanced Zen will be lower
than given in the chart if running count is used.
If you have any questions about either of these systems, please
reply below.
