I dont think I have posted here before, but I have been reading the posts for awhile now and this is a great site. I am new to counting and recently purchased the KO book and have been trying to learn the system but I am having a few problems. Everything I have read says you need to be able to count a single deck in 30 seconds or less, after about two weeks of practice I'm about to conclude that I am not going to be able to do this. However I can get it in 38 or 39 seconds, is this exceptable? Also, the book says its ok to adjust the IRC up to avoid counting neg numbers, is this ok? Do most KO users do this or is it better to learn to count neg numbers. Most of the games in my area are 6 decks, so I am thinking about using irc of 8. It seems it would be nice to use a IRC that provide a table exit at a RC of 0. Any suggestions what IRC is best??
Thanks in advance, Mike
