Re: 6 deck bailout using K-O

Posted by T-Hopper on 17 April 1998, at 6:05 p.m., in response to 6 deck bailout using K-O, posted by Kona on 16 April 1998, at 2:06 p.m.

To calculate the true count with K-O for negative situations, start the IRC at -Decks*4. Just divide by the number of decks remaining and -4 will be equivalent to a neutral deck composition. This is necessary because any running count system is only accurate near the pivot point, which is +4 for K-O or 0 for balanced counts. The farther you are from this number, the less accurate the running count becomes.

You can decide when to leave based on conditions in the casino, sich as how good the other tables are compared to the one you are sitting at. You could pick a target count of -5 or lower to take a break or change tables.
