While this is accurate, it does not address WHY you would want to use depth charging. Depth charging is a form of cover betting to play in deeply dealt single deck games without getting booted. A depth charger will bet bigger late in the deck even knowing that the count indicates a disadvantage. Personally I think it should only be used by players who play very high stakes or use a multiparameter count system with a PE over .70.
