THCalc Blackjack Spreadsheet
Posted by T-Hopper on 4 June 1998, at 1:06 a.m.
Here is a simple spreadsheet I use to calculate essential figures for blackjack comparisons. Works with output from any simulation software, or enter the numbers yourself.
On the right hand side you can choose either a Kelly multiple or a Risk of Ruin figure. Leave the Kelly box blank if you wish to use Risk of Ruin. The spreadsheet computes the bankroll size and the Win/100 compared to the bankroll. This is called the ROI, and it is what you should be looking at when you use the program. Also note the column in the raw data section labeled A^2/V. Use this to help you decide how much to bet at each count.
The sample data included shows the ace-neutral system T-Hop 1 with true count win more per $ of bankroll than High-Low in a double deck game and a 1-6 bet spread. The rules were H17, DAS, and 75% penetration.
