T-Hop, I don't know why you don't make the ace-reckoned count the main one. Here's "Pete Moss I". I've been using it for many months now. You keep two counts in your head.
Main count (K-O)
A 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 T
-1 1 1 1 1 1 1 0 0 -1
Secondary count
A 2
1 -1
You get the main playing count by adding the betting count and secondary count together. It is used for all playing decisions other than doubling with 9 or 10, splitting tens, doubling on soft 20, and splitting 9's vs. ace. Effectively, it is this:
A 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 T
0 0 1 1 1 1 1 0 0 -1
This is the same thing as your system except the main count is K-O. If you do it this way, you only need to combine the two counts when a playing decision is close. You never need to combine them to make a bet. Because there are more cards counted by K-O than by the playing count, you get more cancelations of a high card and a low card, so it is also easier to count.
