Can you leave and enter a game whenever you feel like it??

This differs from place to place. Some casinos (most in Atlantic City, the Sheraton in Tunica) have "no mid shoe entry" signs posted. Others, you can come in at any time. I have never heard of not being able to leave whenever you want, although the Soaring Eagle in Michigan doesn't let you back in once you leave.

People always talk about playing the whole session?? What the hell does that mean??

There is no concrete definition of a session. Generally, it means the time spent in one casino gambling. If you go to another casino, or take a break and come back to the same one, you are starting a new session. Counters gennerally try to keep sessions an hour or less, at least in jurisdictions where they can easily walk to another game.

And in a hand held game you always place your bets before or after the first card is dealt???

Before.

Thanks

You're welcome.
