Re: Composition-dependent Strategy for any Deck per ToB

C,
Since you and I are likely the only two people in the world who recall the events you try to describe here, I will make one post and leave you and your ego to distort things any way you please.
The original poster concerning this matter asked why does a player rightfully stand when confronted with a holding of a three card soft 18. I repied that such a hand must be either A,A,6 or A, and two small cards. Since such a hand consumed a few more small cards which would help when hitting 18, it appears that those two small cards missing from the pack are just enough to swing the composition-dependent strategy to stand from hit.
Your later reply went into a discussion concerning doubling the hand, which was not relevant to the original question. You then shifted the grounds of the question in two directions. You begin talking about 6 deck strategy, and tried to shift from composition-dependent strategy to generic strategy. I still believe you thought at that time that these two were the same. Maybe you were being disingenuous. In any event, you begin analyzing hands and plays no one had brought into the discussion, save you.
At some point, you declared that the proper play for A,A,2,2,2 was to hit. You later buried your admission you were wrong on that notion in a paragraph dealing with generic plays on six deck games no one but you was discussing.
Then you produced a true expert's work on how to correctly play the hand generically. And proclaimed yourself vindicated, even though all along the question was on a specific composition dependent play.
Have the last word here and protect your good name. It is clear you have a lot to give and are a positive for these bj boards. It does you no good to disingenously misrepresent and omit relevant facts, except to protect your value as a poster of note who loves to see his name in lights. Have at it.
