Re: KO Bet Fudging for Shoe Games?

Bet fudging is basically a crude form of true count conversion. The K-O Key Count is roughly halfway between a neutral count and the pivot. Using the IRC of -4*Decks + 4 as recommended in K-O, the Key Count will be:
Decks Key
Remaining Count
1 2
2 0
3 -2
4 -4
5 -6
6 -8
7 -10
8 -12
If you used -4 * Decks, with a pivot of 0 instead of +4, the Key Count would simply be -2 * Decks Remaining.
You can average two or more of the above numbers together if you don't want to estimate decks remaining to the nearest deck.
