HI Brett, Thanks for the answer lets see if i comprehend.
1 The pivot is where the true count equals zero
2 The running count is more inaccurate the further from the pivot u are
3 Unbalanced counts move this point into the preferred playing area of the Counter eg positve count
4 Therefore the pivot (zero tc, where running count is most accurate) for the unbalanced count equates to a positive balanced true count.
5 Even though Ko can be used only in running mode conversion to true count can be made to further improve the accuracy of the system.
6 Running count KO is at least as effective in shoe games as TC Hilo.
Does this sound about right?
Could u answer me 1 more question. Is KO preferred a tc version of KO?
Is this why indices are required for deviation from basic strategy?
Or can deviations be made on running KO only?
I certainly think Ive got a better handle on this now cheers Brett any further advice would be most welcome as u can tell Im more than a little green about these things.
Oh 1 more thing at what point should i switch from flashcarding 1 card to 2 & more i can do a pack in about 40 seconds now but ive seen different reccomendations at what point to swtich to multiple flashcarding eg burdicks software recommends after doing a pack in 45 secs. other advice being 30 seconds for a pack. What do u think?
All the best
less confused UK
