Don't make the mistake of getting burned by betting progressions. They don't work. The only way to win is to play basic strategy like a machine, appear like a superstitious recreational gambler, pick a count (I prefer KO)and practice counting for hours and hours so that it becomes second nature, bet with as close to "Kelly Criterion" as possible, don't underfund/overbet your bankroll, spread as much as you can between disadvantageous to advantageous counts, and don't be afraid to bet big when the count calls for it. That's all there is to it! If you did all of this correctly, standard deviation may still wipe your a-- out anyway. Have fun and good cards to ya.
