You ARE likely dealing with extreme StDv, assuming that you are not making chronic unconcious mistakes (such as reversing +/- counts).
Notwithstanding, the 5D NH Euro game that you describe is a TOUGH GAME - most pro players will only BACKCOUNT this game. To PLAY ALL counts requires a very large BR and a spread of 1-20+ for a decent win rate. Backcounting this game will considerably increase the profit while reducing StDv and BR requirements.
KO can be improved a bit by adjusting the way that you count the 7s and simultaneously utilize a 'true-count adjustment' with a greater # of indices (45+).
Another factor is the shuffle - if the shuffle is relatively simple and the 'cutoffs' (ie, cards behind the shuffle card) remain relatively intact, then a simple form of 'shuffle-tracking' called 'cutoff tracking' can substantially improve your performance.
