Hello,
I have a question about bet spreads and optimal bankroll. I've been reading different material on the subject, and am COMPLETELY confused about all of its complexity. There is so much conflicting advice, and complicated formulas. I just want a practical method for determining how to bet in a casino with a $5000 bankroll. I play Uston APC and would like to stay within a 5% element of ruin. Is the Kelly system a good way to go?
*Also a technical question about the Uston APC. Uston recommends using the ace adjustment only for betting purposes, but not playing decisions.
Some experts recommend using ace adjustment for play decisions, such as doubling on 10 or 11. Is this correct with Uston APC? If so, should the ace be counted as -3, or something else?
