See the link below for the best article I have seen on optimal betting. I have more to say on this subject, but this information should still be very useful.

Ace adjustments for playing do have some value, but I've never seen them for a level-3 count system. You can get most of the potential gain by counting the ace as about +1.5 for insurance, -3 for doubling on 10, and +3 for doubling on 11. This should increase your PE from about .69 to over .70, not a huge gain.
