PE not enough

Posted by T-Hopper on 11 February 2002, at 4:39 p.m., in response to Re: One program, posted by Victor on 10 February 2002, at 11:51 p.m.

First of all, the PE in single deck will be different from 8 decks, because the relative value of different plays changes. The information you posted is straight out of Peter Griffin's Theory of Blackjack, which I thought you had read. if you haven't you need to get that book right away.

More importantly, the two numbers that really matter in any game are the Win Rate and Bankroll Required. Divide one by the other and you get the ROI (Return on Investment). PE is only one of several factors in this bottom-line equation.
