uston simple point count

At page 83 million dollar blackjack Uston States that the conversion factor for his simple point count is 1/2 deck. Question!
Playing a single deck game I use the conversion factor of 1/2 deck alone.
I could multiply x 1.3 if 13 cards would be played. But the matrix numbers at page 84 will not be valid anymore for playing decisions.
Could someone give me a could answer.
