I compliment Bootlegger on an excellent post. It was right on target. What I take issue with is how many people look with disdain at multiple deck games, particularly 8 deckers. It is true that "all things being equal single deck is better than double deck, double deck is better than multiple deck etc." The problem is that in BJ "all things are not equal." It is the amount of unplayed cards that determines the favorability of the game. I would rather play an 8 decker with 85-90% DP than a four decker with 65% DP. I have not played a hand held game in many years. The main reason is that there is less paranoia and or scrutiny in these games. I have also not been barred since 1984. Many will say "yeah, but where do you find these games?" Trust me they are out there. I have found 85% DP in ALL casinos in AC. You have to look and single out particular dealers. Make a note of them, what casino, shift, pit etc. Regards, Ralph Stricker "Silver Fox" |
