Stanford Wong has announced that Peter Griffin, after a very short fight with a fast acting cancer, died Saturday. Griffin will be remembered forever by his classics The Theory of Blackjack and Extra Stuff.

I replied on Wong's message board the following:

Just heard the sad and tragic news about the passing of Peter Griffin. Please give my condolances to his family and friends.

I will always cherish the few brief meetings I have had with this fascinating and brilliant gentleman.
