That's why a simple O/U count is nice or at least the O/U count should "look" similar to the count you are now using. For example, if you use the Hi-Lo then learn Snyder's simple O/U count which counts Aces, 2,3,4 as +1 and tens as -1. The only adjustment you have to make in this case is counting Aces +1 instead of -1 and you don't count 5s and 6s. Every time you see a blackjack you ignore it since the Ace and ten valued card cancel each other out. I think it is very worth while to learn an O/U count if you find yourself in a casino that has O/U.

Whatever you do, DON'T attempt to use your regular count to play the O/U.
