I'm just a small-time red chip player who enjoys the game. I do have another career that I enjoy and it pays the bills. Yes, I have gone through an elaborate process of learning, and I am still in the process. If you are looking to make a career of blackjack, good luck. It is a hard way to go and is fraught with pitfalls, but some have proven that it can be very lucrative. Learn all you can about the game and make sure you get in plenty of playing time before you make that final decision to chuck everything else and become a full-time player.
