No, I didn't know of TARGET's Voodoo qualities before I took the course, but that was a long time ago. At that time I respected Jerry Patterson because of his reputation. I no longer respect Jerry Patterson. At least I respect Eddie Olsen a little more, the inventor of TARGET, because Olsen has at least admited (I believe) that TARGET is not an advantage technique. Patterson sold the system with claims of incredible player advantages which is nonsense -- and I believe he even still claims that today. Olsen and Patterson have also had a falling out due to differences in the way they wanted to market this product.
