both superb IMHO

I have both. I do not utilize all the features on both because I use them for limited purposes.
SBA is faster but both are fast. CVSim, IMO, outputs more parameters and its basic output is presented more logically. I am sure other commercial simulators like PBA and Bryce's will do most of the same things but I do not have the others.
Both Norm and Karel are totally honest and aboveboard and both will tell you if their software has limitations of any sort or if the other's product has a better feature than theirs. It is definitely easier to set up sims using cover on CVSim but I believe if I were a little smarter I could set up SBA to do the same thing with a little more work.
I think your best approach would be to email each directly. They both have sites which can be accessed from links on the various pages. I assume they can be accessed from here but am sure they can be accessed from bj21 and assume they can be acessed from Snyder.
If you have any trouble, I can look up the addresses I have.
