mr. dalton.....
Posted by forensic on 16 June 1999, at 7:20 p.m.
hello mr dalton, i am a fairly new counter. i am a 24 year old student. i use the silverfox method. my BR is currently 100$ sometimes more according to my winning sessions. i kow this is not much of a BR. this is my question. my school schdule is very hecktic and the casinos are there pretty much all the time(day&night) and my winning sessions have been more than my losing. what i need to focus on is DISAPLINE! i find myself getting aggravated, one shoe i am up 100$ the next im down 125$ i love the game but the ups and downs amaze me. usually i win about 70-100$ sometimes i will settle for 50$ and i walk. like i said it is flexible to play BJ, i can play different shifts and its easy money. i would like your advice on....maybe its a stupid question, but me playing this way until my BR is larger to bet larger amounts. i know its a far fetch to play for a living, but i would love to, but i also love school.( i would like to just do it part-time until school is out and see if i can make some extra cash) i was wondering if you think its possible to make 2-300$ a week. this is probably a real studpid question. i use a 1-4 spread count where my max bet is no more than usually 25$ unless i get some off the wall TC (+10) i play a 6D shoe, s17, DAS, double on anything, and about 70%pen most the time, some a little more and some a little less, i try to stay at least 70%. i have talked to ralph stricker about it, and i think he gets annoyed with me, but i can accually see it work. its not too hard to get 60-100$ ahead, im not in it to walk out with 1000's$$ but it would be nice, for now i will settle for 60-100$ at each session, my sessions usually last about 3-4hours. any advice would be helpful, thanks foresnic
