Walker Hill

Among my Korean friends, Walker Hill is said to have a reputation of cheating players. How true this is, I don't know.

I played there about 6 years ago. I had learned how to count, but had very limited casino experience. After about 2 hours of play, I was just about even. Then the true count reached an astronomical +10.
It hovered in the + area for the rest of the shoe. I kept putting out the bets according to the count (didn't know about cover then) and proceeded to lose hand after hand, until my whole bankroll was gone.

Afterwards, when I learned about Walker Hill's cheating reputation, I attributed my loss to that. However, with a lot more experience and knowledge today, I realize that my loss could have been just normal fluctuation.

I would play there again, but next time I would be more alert and quick to leave if I saw anything suspicious.
