telly savalas was multi-talented...

unfortunately, similar to mr john patrick, and others of his ilk who develop and sell "money management" systems, skilled 21 play was not in the repetoire. i liked him in certain "kojak" segments, the "belarus file", and "the dirty dozen". lo, as a 21 player, he was weak.
on other boards, i've posted that one experience at the riviera, yars back. savalas joined the table, to my immediate left. i recognized him, watched his play. it was less than basic strategy. i felt sorry for him almost to offer advice, but that's a cardinal rule for counters. of course, he lost. at the time, i didn't know that in addition to making those riviera/player's club commercials, he was authoring a 21 system ! well, folks, that dog don't hunt.
