it's soup ! land ahoy !

summerlin resorts is now open. 21 bj tables in a real live pit (few steps down, circular). only other table games are 2 minibac, a few dice tables...no caribbean stud, let-it-ride, war, pai gow poker. 21 game ? attackable due to rules, though surveillance assets are formidable.
on to the buffet ! quality and price, is high. items trend toward seafood, on the same track as bellagio. buffet is now 24 hours but will assume "normal" hours when the restaurants all open, in a few days. i'd rank the meal as 80% of bellagio, but clearly better than the "usual suspects"...main street, reserve, texas, sunset station. the joint targets high end golfers, not the typical strip visitor; i think an old desert inn regular will soon feel at home here. without doubt, in >30 yars (newspeak) gleaning these joints, i've found this staff to be the most friendly, effusively thankful for your visit...even better than the old silver slipper.
