The next step???

Hello,

A few quick questions. I have been reading "Blackjack As A Business" by Revere. I have learned the Basic Stradegy charts for Multi Deck and can't wait to hit the tables. Although, much to my surprise, at the end of the book I found out Revere has been dead since the 70's.

My first question is: Did I make a good choice of books to learn? 2) Is his basic stradegy for multi deck games still current or is it outdated? 3) Has anyone used any of his counts and were they effective? and finally, whats my next step to take me to the next level??
