Table positions??

I would like to get your thoughts on positions at the table. I don't count. At least not yet (Thanks to Grifter and Wolfman for the nice comments to get me on my way). Is there an advantage to sitting at 3rd base or 1st base if your not counting? Im a pretty solid BS player and cant help but think that my moves at 3rd base helps. Is this just a myth?
