The question is: How many times per hour the Roulette Wheel is spinned? I go by the empirical observation that this is approximately 30 spins per hour. The number varies greatly, depending upon the usual factors, such as dealer accuracy & speed in payoffs, number of players, dealer force in spinning the wheel itself, etc. But 30 spins per hour is a good number on which to base one's calculations.
We need at least 4,000 spins before we can be able to determine if a wheel is biased or not, and, if it is, which number(s) or which sectors, if any, are biased. This translates into more than 5 days of sitting one's ass down at the table and clocking every spin of the wheel, 24 hours a day, every day.
