Re: They are there

Several yeqars ago I bought Beating the Wheel by Russ Barnhart. He had a table that gave number of hits required for n spins to have some confidence that the wheel was biased. The more trials the bigger the number of hits required. I happened to take the book with me on a business trip to Winnipeg Manitoba, the home of the Crystal Casino. They had 2 wheels near thr Bj pit. I modified a baccarat card to take observations. I sat and played BJ. At the end of every shoe I recorded the numbers hit off the 'stick' for each wheel. They were getting about 60 spins an hour I think. At any rate I easily got 800 observations while making money at bj. I summarised the data which indicated a strong bias on one wheel. The next several days I sat and played and added to my database which kept re-confirming the bias. I won good bit of money.
About a year later I sampled for a week in Las Vegas, but never found anything playable. I think they exist in more remote locations tha do not maintain their wheels as well as Las Vegas.

Good luck and good hunting
