SBA5.0indexes for ace-reck ace-removal for playing decisions

Creating indexes for a system that you want to remove the ace from the ace-reckoned main count for playing decisions. Noone explains this properly anywhere. Hope you can help.

To create indexes in SBA 5.0 for a system like halves 1 2 2 3 2 1 0 -1 -2 -2 and removing the ace for playing decisions, only the main count in SBA creates indexes, so you have to use 1 2 2 3 2 1 0 -1 -2 (0) to create the indexes which is an unbalanced system I assume with an IRC of -16 so it is innacurate to adjust all the indexes by +2 to produce indexes for playing decisions ace removed side count. If it was that easy then you could start your IRC by 0 and ad +18 to all the indexes and that is definitely innacurate.

A few months ago Karel Janecek asked me to post this message to confirm his belief which is this...To create indexes for Halves/aces properly I was told by Karel that you have to multiply all card values by 13 and then add -1 to cards 2 through Ten and +1 to the ace. Thus running the indexes with card values of 12 25 25 38 25 12 -1 -14 -27 -14. Then dividing the indexes generated by 13 to get your proper indexes for playing decisions.

This is complicated...and can anyone verify that this is correct?
