Re: Ace side count
Posted by T-Hopper on 28 January 2000, at 2:46 p.m., in response to SBA5.0indexes for ace-reck ace-removal for playing decisions, posted by Troy on 22 January 2000, at 5:18 p.m.
The rule is to select the IRC so that the count will be 0 after all the cards have been seen. SBA does this automatically. With Halves doubled and ace = 0, the IRC = -8 * Decks. The best way is probably to learn to do this yourself rather than converting to an IRC = 0 method. Check out Flexible Blackjack written by Bert Nommel and published by RGE, which does this for the Revere Point Count and High-Low.
